Awhile ago I went to a community art show and was a little bit offended to see that one of the featured pieces was a (childlike) painting of a sailboat. At the time I decided it wasn't
really art; however, here I am, years later, still thinking about that one simple painting. As it turns out, the "art that wasn't" has had a subtle, yet significant impact on my creative psyche. So in honor of that unknown artist (oh how I wish I would have kept his business card!) I made these "sailboat" brushes over the weekend.
